13-15 April: Songkran - The Thai new year.

May: Royal Ploughing Ceremony - Celbrating the farming season; the specific date is determined by the royal astrologer

May: Visakha Bucha:  A Buddhist holiday occurring on the full moon of the 6th lunar month.

1 May: Labor Day
